Fall…Fall…Fall…in the mountains. Witnessing “the four seasons” as nature intended, revitalizes one’s biological and spiritual clock. Vivaldi knew this quite well. But I would love to know what is your favorite season and why.
This painting entitled the Winds of Fall is my humble attempt to capture the feeling of what I see outside of my studio window. If you go to my website and click on Atelier, you will be able to see the fall colors and how incredibly intense they are. I can tribute that to the altitude and how the sun is just more intense.
“When God created nature, art was inevitable” -Rod Jones Artist quote
Try as we must, you can’t beat the sights, scenes and sounds of true nature.
As I make this post, the lyrics and music from the song California Dreamin’ by the Mamma’s and Pappa’s found its way into my head. It will probably take a day or two before I stop humming it out loud.
California Dreamin’
All the leaves are brown (all the leaves are brown)
And the sky is grey (and the sky is grey)
I’ve been for a walk (I’ve been for a walk)
On a winter’s day (on a winter’s day)
I’d be safe and warm (I’d be safe and warm)
If I was in L.A. (if I was in L.A.)
