Description: This painting is a deconstructed view of Stratford On the Avon, which is the birthplace of William Shakespeare. In fact, he actually has a quote regarding art, ” The object of art is to give life a shape.” Which works well with this interpretation of Mr. Shakespeare’s hometown.
Like all of my paintings the work was completed without a thought of a title or a preconceived notion of what the work may suggest. Slowly I have learned to listen to my brain. My art is about composition, color and form. This painting demonstrates the evolution of that mode of thinking, which I have embraced .
