Jardin des Tuileries
Size (h w d):40 x 30 x 0.75 in
Medium:oil on canvas

Description:The painting owes its name to the Jardin des Tuileries Garden. It is a public garden located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. Magnificent history, architecture and nature combined with playgrounds, carousel and a toy boat pond to entertain the children and adults promoting a relaxing beautiful environment that eases the senses and allows people to be present in the moment with a “slow down” atmosphere. Beautiful in all seasons, even in the cold of winter. The gardens let you experience the seasons while relaxing and taking in the beauty of Mother Nature.

This painting has a Impressionist feel albeit abstract one.
Oblique and non-oblique in form which enlightens senses. The lavender, yellow, red, green all exemplify flowers in bloom. The gardens must have been a favorite plein aire location. After a day of painting, if it were me, I would picnic with baguette, fromage and a wonderful bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne. Cheers to my fellow artists of France.
