“This painting has a lot of subtleties that can only be seen in person. Most of Rod’s artworks are always open to interpretations. They seem to strike each viewer in an omniscient fashion. It’s been nothing less than a real education in how people use their visual senses when interpreting a painting. Rod generally is not too forthcoming when it comes to giving those that collect and view his art a verbal road map. But, because everything in this world is subjective, and art probably being the most fecund, he figures to let the viewer come to their own conclusions.
