Coulant (Flowing)

Our thoughts flow— to and fro, making tideways, channelizing compulsively, weighty and sometimes arbitrary ideas, revealing an uncanny mindful exchange between two persons. I have found, or perhaps discovered that in a most baffling way written and visual exchanges that take place on social media especially Instagram triggers a lot of frivolous and nonsensical thinking, but every once in a while the exchanges can be stimulating and wonderfully insightful. It just happened to me today. My Long time dear IG friend @jewlesm who just happens to be a renowned Art Psychotherapist (take a look at IG feed)  shared a heartfelt post describing a brief conversation that took place while waiting for coffee. The chance meeting lasted merely minutes. They connected in a spiritual way; not romantically, but with deep unspoken clairvoyance. They shared the joys and pains of life, understanding intuitively everything happens for a reason. Their hearts, minds and souls had a brief encounter with lasting and perceptible clarity of humanness. After reading the post my comment to her was as follows: “ I believe that our own guardian angels, speak with the guardian angels of those in need, providing insight and guidance to help us all have spiritual connectivity in a pivotal conscious mental state.  In a most humble way, my painting; Coulant (flowing) captures a directed and flowing mood. The work; in its own subtle aspect, creates a portal to a transcending universe of non-material existence. In other words you are what you feel beyond what you see.
